was this a good movie? did the pre-view for Saw 3 look good?

I thought it was a good movie....it was well directed, in my opinion...it really gave you a feel for being scared in the dark, to not know exactly what was going to happen next. The US ending sucked though....go on YouTube for the original ending. As for the preview for "Saw 3"....it didn't give you too much, and it looks the same as the other two films, but it was cool to hear the voice say "Hello Las Vegas? Do you wanna play a game" (or something to that effect)...nice way to pull people in.

the descent was stupid. i have seen more blood in other movies. i cannot believe how someone could actually be scared by watching that crap. what 6 friends go into a cave of that nature just to explore. the story line could have been better written. i feel like i saw a similar movie 2 years ago.l but i cannot wait until saw 3, those are my favorites

It was ok, I think it would have been better as a thriller without the monsters and just with the dark and cramped spaces, it was a bit gory, but what do you expect! Saw 3 looked good, I think it will be a huge thing. The preview made it seem like the guy is going to involve people nationwide, he said something like "Hello America would you like to play a game" something like that.

I saw "The Descent" here, in Toronto in a movie theatre. It's one of the best horror movies. SAW 3 trailer: "Hello Canada, would you like to play a game?" :)

There was a movie called The Cave last year. It sounds vaguely similiar to this one. All I've heard about this film is that its suppose to be a gorefest and have extremely large amounts of blood. Check out Yahoo's Movie page and see the view grades on this film.

I saw The Descent here at home (dont ask). Yeah it was pretty good. Hardcore. So I didnt see the trailer for Saw3.
and a comment to what the guy said below - its not a happy ending.

I got the dvd at home, and I can tell you it sucks. Its gollum gone wild in a cave. Dont waste your money on it, if you liked Hostel, even you will be dissapointed by this flick. Go see Talladega Nights!
Its a European film that was released in 2005, im told they changed the ending to a happy ending for this new release. So it blows even more.

saw 3 trailer gave me nothing!! im so in the dark!! i seriously only went to see this movie for the trailer and i fell jipped!! (sp?)
the movies was kinda sick and i go in2 caves all the time in the rockies but now im like ef that!
ever seen power rangers? i think those men/creatures looked like puddies. or whatever those things were..im talking power rangers 1993!!
