What immediately comes to mind when you hear the name "Savannah" for a girl? Just wondering about people's opinions, possible stereotypes, etc...

one of my good friends just had a baby girl and named her savannah rose. i for one love older names. i have a daughter that is named emma. i love it.
i also like the name sophie or sophia

Savannah is a cute name, but it do make me think back to Waiting to Exhale, Savannah was played by Whitney Houston
but overall i like the name.

I've met 3 Savannah's in my lifetime. One was a stripper, one was a dumb blonde, and one was a dumb blonde who was a complete tramp. None of these are good thoughts when I think of the name Savannah. I don't think people take girls named Savannah seriously. There will never be a Supreme Court Justice named Savannah. I guarantee this. Porn stars and strippers will change their name to Savannah b/c they want to sound exotic, so why name your baby this unless you want them to have a promising career in the adult entertainment industry? Just say no!

That was gonna be my baby's name if it were a girl Savannah Samira but its a boy and his name is Caleb Seven Savannah is soooooo pretty and don't you let anyone else tell you different and if its pretty to you thats all that matters that child will her name cause if someone calls her anything but, she will get an attitude saying "THAT'S NOT MY NAME AND YOUR SAYING IT WRONG MY NAME IS SAVANNAH".

Savannah is a pretty name. It makes me think that it is becoming a really popular name as I have heard this name a lot lately.

I think of the South....for instance Savannah, Georgia. There was, at one time, Savannah Girl Scout cookies too. :)

Savannah = treeless
My boyfriends daughter is named Savannah, and I hate her name he does too! So we call her Van. Which isnt any better but Savannah is so old. Beautiful but old.

I think of a girl I knew in middle school with the same name. She was cool. But yeah, I picture a tan, slightly chubby brunette girl when i hear the name.
