G'day Meldt,
Thank you for your question.
By week 4, the ears are starting to form as otic pits. By week 9, the face is well-developed. By 9 weeks, it can react to loud noises.
The brain starts to develop rapidly by week 23. By the end of the second trimester at 24 weeks, your baby should be able to hear. Indeed some studies indicate it might be able to hear you. Your baby will also be able to tell the difference between your voice and someone else's. It will even respond to a story. Many studies now confirm that voices reach the womb with your voice being particularly strong.
By week 26, it is capable of surviving although there are strong risks of complications. By week 37, it is considered to be full-term.
I have attached more resources for your reference.
Best wishes for you and your baby.

They can start to feel vibrations around 14 weeks and can actually hear things at 18 weeks. You dont have to put anything to your stomach so the baby can hear, it can pretty much hear you talking and can hear anything you can hear. It will just mostly sound muffled to the baby. The experts say that if you listen to classical music while you are pregnant and after the baby is born your baby wil have a higher IQ. I am not sure how much truth that holds but I have heard it many places. If you actually put head phones to your stomach the baby will be able to hear it better. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and with your delivery.

I believe 26 weeks is when the fetus can hear sounds from outside the mother's body. When I was pregnant with my first baby I would put headphones on my belly while I was at work and play music. He seemed to respond best to Led Zeppelin...

I definitely have heard of the uterus soaking up the fetus. yet in the cases that I definitely have heard it grew to become into while in the start of a being pregnant their have been twins yet one particularly stops growing to be and gets take in returned into the physique. So because of fact the physique can not exspell the toddler because of incontrovertible fact that there remains yet another toddler growing to be, this is how the physique miscarries it. i'm hoping this is wise. yet for it to ensue as many times because it has to you does not sound like that could be the case. regrettably with your subject you have an more desirable fee of infertility. And reckoning on the point of your subject that selection ought to upward thrust severely. So in all honesty in case you nevertheless have those issues in being pregnant look extra into your subject with some form of expert. they are going to be waiting to assist you already know extra. or you could in basic terms save attempting the way you. I definitely have universal some females who've had multiple miscarriages and then bypass directly to have healthful infants.

Pretty soon the baby will be able to. We aren't sure exactly when, but sometime after the point of viability (22 weeks). However, starting the music now, or even earlier, will help to allow the baby's brain to develop.
