Do what you REALLY want to... not what logic or reason pushes you towards. If you found the perfect boyfriend who has everything you could ever want, but you want your ex-boyfriend back who works at a gas station... go for it. that's what it means to listen to your heart. If you want to become a dog walker and your parents want you to become a lawer or doctor... listen to your heart.... that's what it means.

If you are an animal lover, and spend any time around them , you'll notice something right away. They seem to percieve emotional changes in the atmosphere without any detectable clues to the 5 senses. One of the things I love about dogs is their complete lack of inhibition on this "second sight" that allows them to understand a person's true intent, or be particularly sympathetic during your lowest lows.

Listen carefully. What is your inner self, or "spidey sense" telling you about a person or situation? Your intuition can be a powewrful ally, and improves with use. When you "listen with your heart" you hear those tiny nuances that are indetectable to our 5 senses, but will give you the insight that you need to make a correct decision.

It means to get in touch with your "real self" or unconscious Self. Our conscious ego is only a small part of our total Self. A lot of the mind lies beneath the threshold of the five senses. Usually, the greater Self is most interested in psychological wholeness.

"Listening to your heart" is about tuning into its messages. To really do so is difficult. It requires unconditional love and respect for yourself and those around you, and an unconditional acceptance of all experiences in life. It requires living in the present by letting go of the past and not fretting about the future, and it requires you to trust your real self and its instincts.

Don't forget, though, that the point of life is not to be micromanaged by the wizard behind the curtains, but to actively develop your conscious personality. Look at it like the apprentice to the master that is the greater Self. The apprentice takes advice for the master but ultimately had better learn to become the master.

To me Listen to your heart means.

to be a good person,to be selfless when be asked upon,to be thoughtful & considerate of others feelings allways do the next right thing & you can't go wrong. remember allgood comes from all bad not in your time in your higher powers time allways maintain 100% integrity; no lying no head game even if they do them to you if they do tell them to stop or get them out of your life if they don't.

It's hard to find a person who talks from the haert they are very very rare & if you are one of though people keep it up because you will be rewarded by the company you keep & you will feel real good about youself.

It means to listen to ur gut instincts. What u really think is feeling inside you rather than from ur head - scientifically and logically what's rite.
