Because the dumb *** liberals are the fools of tomorrow.

They also can't debate facts. Hell, the hippies were out in full-force screaming GLOBAL COOLING in the 70s. Liberals are really nutjobs. Noone should pay attention to a word that the freaks say.

The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day came into being and will continue after we are gone.
The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.
These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.
This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.

It has been proved that the average temperatures in the past years have risen with one or two degrees. Such minor alteration has already caused great chaos in nature: floods are more frequent, many animals are beginning to leave their natural habitat and start acting unnaturally. Nature itself is changing: natural catastrophes have multiplied during the past years, for example the El Nino. Just look around you! Do a little research and you'll find out. It's not only the temperature, it's the world around you. And it is very far from being a joke.

Because the joke is best told by one of the libs heros, Al Gore. His "Unfortunate Truth" documentary is an expensive way for him to try to heal his wounds after losing the 2000 election. And then embarrasing hmself by prolonging the misery through all the appeals. How embarrassing.
But not quite as embarrasing as putting the Keoto Protocol up for a vote before the United States Senate and getting NO votes other than his own. Or not being allowed to complete his speech before the US Bar Association after he insulted them and threatened their futures with his plan for tort reform. So Al is trying to make a legacy for himselft other than 'sore loser', just like Bill Clinton is trying to do.
"Remaking History" must have been a popular read in the Clinton Administration library. Bill doesn't want to be remembered for his lack of performance in the White House or the numerous scandals, and being impeached, so he is out there trying to convince gullible previous constituants of how wonderful times were. And Al is hustling Hollywood producers into helping him keep Keoto alive.
Maybe Bill and Hillary wrote this fiction after her failed Nationalized Health Care debacle. She already had plenty of hustling experience herself having gone through the White Water land development deals with the Rose Law firm in Arkansas. And then there was the cattle investment deal. What a return. 1,000%. Shrewed investor.

Of course global warming is a joke--but the joke is on us humans!
One of the condition sets used to explain the demise of the dinosaurs was a sudden climate change. It is posited that a meteor struck the earth and created darkness and cold that affected them all at once. Tough luck, but not their fault.
We're stupid enough to create our own problems! How much more of a joke can that be?
The earth will still be here, waiting for the next 'dominant' species.

because those "kind and caring" people at the oil companies tell you it's a joke? You 'cons just love trusting corporate shills, don't you?
Bet you are really laughing the next time chimpy hands them another "corporate welfare" subsidy.
EDIT" The "source" for this story was on a right-wing web site....kind of like Fox "News" for the internet. They've obviously manipulated the data by "cherry picking" it....kind of like how Chimpy convinced people Iraq had WMDs. Why not post some real data from a non-partisan, non-funded by the oil companies site?

Read the news mags from the mid 70s, the big story was "we are entering a new ice age". That didn't get the stupid public excited so they try the other extreme. it is all an excuse to extent government control. Of course "for your own good". There is a term that applies here but I am not sure it is allowed.

Saying global warming is happening is as brilliant as saying it will snow this winter somewhere in Canada. That scientists say it is happening is about about as brilliant as them claiming the sun will rise tomorrow. Fact is it comes and goes in the cycles of nature. BFD.
I say the solution to global warming is a good nuclear winter. Remember that crock of crap? Maybe the terror-boy muzzies will finally get a nuke, blow a few off, and shut up all the global warming whiners once and for all when the nuke winter sets in and cools this orb in the name of Allah-tabullshit.
