i thought captain barbossa died in the first pirates movie? didn't jack sparrow shot him, and then will turner dropped the medallions in the chest. so if barbossa died, why is he in the 2nd movie, where he is going to lead the crew to jack(which will be in the third movie)?

yea when i went to see with my friends it we were all surprised. so i guess they brought him back for that surprise factor and maybe a lot of people liked his character as a villian from the first movie

apparently barbossa never really died. when you think about it, the scene where pintel was shot with a bullet by barbossa before he became a real person shouldve made pintel die when the curse was broken, since he wouldve had the bullet in his chest the whole time. so since pintel didnt die, why should barbossa? i was always confused about that, and then they brought barbossa back in the second movie, which was surprising, but it made sense.

i think that tia dalma brought him back to life with her "witchcraft"
he is going to lead them to find jack at "the end of the earth". and the monky isnt dead because he took a medallion before he left so he is still un dead, that was funny.
i saw this movies 3 times, and seeing it again soon:D
