I am 95lbs 5'8. I feel fat and i need help so please answer my question. I want to hear your opinions!

You are really underweight! I think that you should gain weight. You shouldnt look fat at 95lbs no matter how tall you are and your tall!!

Sweety, you aren't fat at all. You are very skinny. Some people incorrectly think that skinny means sexy. People more often define sexy as being somebody who has a weight that is proportional to their body weight which is subjective, rather than somebody that is as skinny as a pencil.

Please don't think that starving yourself is the answer. It will make you lose muscle and bone weight, not fat weight, and the second you eat anything at all, it will turn straight to fat because your body will be in reserve mode. You need to eat all different types of healthy foods, exercise routinely, and you will have a weight that is proportional to your height. People often times mistakingly think that being super skinny is better when in reality, it isn't. People who are overly skinny, often caused from eating disorders, are usually very sickly looking. You need to not be judging your body by looking in the mirror but rather, how you feel after a workout, a good meal, etc.

I do not know if you are depriving your body of food or not (or vomiting it up), but if you are then please, please don't do that, it is only going to make you and look weak. There is a lot of help available out there for people who have eating disorders and if you do have any, I would be willing to help you. There are ways to get help without your family knowing, without your friends knowing, or without future employers or lenders knowing. It can almost be an anonymous process and if this is indeed the problem you are having, after going through such treatment, you will feel so much better about yourself.

In general, yes you are. Women who are 5"8 should weigh between 120 and 165 pounds. But rather than focusing on weight, people should look at their percentage of fat and amount of muscle.
For example, I am 5'7. I weight 138 pounds. I have 25% fat and 97 pounds of muscle. That's not bad, but it could be better. I have a Tanita Ironman scale that measures all this.

You can also look at your BMI. Body mass index (BMI) or Quetelet Index is a statistical measure of the weight of a person scaled according to height.
BMI of 25 may indicate optimal weight; a BMI lower than 25 suggests the person is underweight while a number above 25 may indicate the person is overweight; a BMI below 20 may indicate the person has an eating disorder; a number above 30 suggests the person is obese (over 40, morbidly obese).

that height / weight proportion is quite unhealthy. the average runway model is 5'8" and 115lbs, which we all know is already underweight.

it sounds as though you may need some professional help in understanding why you view yourself as fat if you are underweight. i don't think there is anyone in the world that can be fat at 95lbs, unless they are a child.

Yes you are. For your age your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 14. It should be at least 25 to be in a healthy weight range. Your at an age where you need to focus on positive body image. Talk to your highschool counselor, your parents, or doctor and get help now. Your healthy long life depends on it.

i'd say yes you are UNDER weight. it's not healthy to be that size. if you were 4ft.8" that'd be a good weight, but you're not that short so my advice is to go to a gnc and buy some protein shake powder. guys love women with a little extra junk in the trunk so please think of gaining weight before you end up killing yourself b/c eventually you will die or be on your death bed for being so small. just for thoughts

Girl you need to put some meat on your bones. Five feet tall 95 lbs is skinny. Trust me on this one; you are too skinny, you need to gain weight, and you are travelling down a dangerous road if you don't heed mine and everyone else's warnings.

You are not fat! However depending on your age you may not be real thin either. If you are young, 13-15 for example, you are not necessarily too thin. You may fill out as you get older.

yes, you are! i'd say 100 pounds at 5'4" is the minimum any girl could go to be slender and still healthy-looking. The extra four inches you have ... I just think you are underweight.

i think you are slightly underweight, but i don't think it's a problem.

i'm 5'4, 78lbs and i feel fat sometimes, too.

try running or playing tennis (not for a team or anything, just for fun. well, unless you want to.) if you feel the need. and eat smaller portions at meals to feel less bloated.
