i was wondering if people who get drafted from high school to the nba go to the same draft same time as the people who went to college then went to the NBA...

also did anyone from high school this yr went straight to the NBA?

No one went straight out of high school because there is a one-year out of high school rule. People who got drafted when they were high schoolers were always younger than college ballers.

It all depends on which year you declare yourself eligible for the draft. So the draft can contain college freshmen to seniors depending on who declared. There is now a new rule that says a player has to be 18 or a year removed from high school to enter the nba draft so since this draft there will no longer be anymore high school players going to the nba.

This year was the first year that the NBA did not allow high school athletes in the draft. In my opinion, the best player out of high school was Moses Malone.

well, everyone goes in the same draft, there isn't a seperate one for high schoolers. and this year was the first with the new rule in effect. to be eligible, you have to be 19 and a year out of high school

no one from high school can be drafted in the NBA draft..its not allowed anymore

yes they go wit the same group. and no they couldnt go straight from high school this year cause they made a new rule.
