1) If a woman is going to die due to complications with her pregnancy, is it wrong for her to get an abortion?
2) If the baby has little chance of surviving outside the womb, is it wrong to get an abortion?

I'm just curious because so many people have so many opinions about this matter. So, what do you think?

I think that in situations like the ones posed in your question, it is perfectly fine to have an abortion. You wouldn't want to put the mother or the baby in a situation that their bodies couldn't handle and potentially cause death.

Just an after-thought . . I strongly disagree with the first person who said that abortions should be mandated up until the age of 18 . . . that would just give young girls an excuse to continue to be promiscuous . . . what they need is to be educated and informed about sex so that they can make the responsible decisions they should . . what they need to do is put sex education back in the school system, so that teens know their options . . that it's ok to abstain from sex or if you're going to have sex, use a condom to protect yourself against STD's and also unwanted pregnancy. Giving them an "easy way out" will not solve the problem.

I'M against abortions BUT if the baby is gonna die or mom then i can see why me myself i would die to give my baby a chances at life but I'm not against it rape i have mixed feeling i can see why someone would do it but there are other options give it up for adoption or a safe haven my friend was raped and instead of that baby dieing a horrible death she had the baby then gave it up for adoption mother didn't suffer and baby got to live

i myself wouldn't do a abortion unless there was something really bad wrong with the baby like it was inside out or couldn't move and would be a veggie

but after typing in abortions in the search bar and seeing all those pic of aborted babies no way in hell would i do it

another solution stop having sex or use a condom or birth control place a Penny between both knees and hold it there that way your legs stay closed there are so many options beside abortion

plus would you want something to chop you in pieces or suck your brain out or burn you all over your body with solution well neither does that baby they feel the pain remember this your mom gave you a chances at life give the baby one to

If you know you might die because of the pregnancy then yes I support it you can always try again but there is only one you. If that child is going to be in terrible pain in it's lifetime or be a veggie then yes it is okay, If the poor mother is raped then yes because looking at that child everyday might make them relive the rape all over again. As for teen pregos we need to find something to stop them from having so many abortions

I dont beleive in abortion, but in A situation like this , If
the mother is going to die, or have really bad complications
giving birth then that might be ok, because if the mother is
not in good health then how can the baby make it.

I think that many people who are against abortions are against it because of the teen pregnancy issue. Many young girls have abortions as often as getting cavities filled & rate it in the same category...just an annoying minor medical procedure. I don't think many people would balk in the situation you described...or in the instance of rape, incest or severe brain damage.

No, I believe that is well attendance, however in recent years attendance laws had been getting stricter and stricter. In my institution, in case you omit greater than two days, you have got to move to restitution (well-nigh three hour detention after institution) till you're making up all of your attendance features. But, there are exceptions I anticipate, like your scientific issues. I might speak to the individual dependable of attendance at your institution approximately it. Just inform her your situation, and that you've particularly well attendance.

I think those are a couple of the rare cases when abortion would be okay. I also think abortion is okay in rape cases.
