do you know this person well? if you don't, then try to hang around him more and eventually he'll probably catch on.
If you DO know him well...try to use the "grapevine" to your advantage. I'm sure he has a friend who maybe knows someone who knows a friend of yours and just ask that friend of yours to try to find out if he likes you.

I've been in that situation plenty of times!! I've always asked my friends to see if he ever stares at me or if he talks about me or anything like that... and if i feel like he really does like me i'll ask one of my close friends to ask him for me! and if they say he says yes then i'll go and talk to him like they were just joking and stuff... so basically i just play it off like they didnt mean it and he will tell you the truth! good luck!

first you get to know him be his friends first. then you ask him a question how do he like if he say he like more then a friend that when you tell him that you like too.or you can ask one of you best friend to ask him for. the same thing happen to me I know how you feel like. you want to know how feel about right bad.

I get some of his friends too see if he likes me or me and one of my pals ACT like we get in a fight and ask him
