Tevez and Mascherano both play for Corinthians and they have both been linked to Manchester United. However, due to the close relations Corinthians have with Chelsea they have asked Corinthians to keep those two players (plus one other player) until Chelsea are ready to take them.
This does not mean that they can refuse to accept bids from other clubs but Corinthians are able to triple their asking prices and refuse to accept less than that. It's not official but Chelsea have control of Tevez and Mascherano.
I'm a Manchester United fan so I know that this sucks. I would have liked to see Mascherano at United and possibly Tevez in a few years time. However, Chelsea unofficially have them tied up so no other club can touch them.
So no Tevez is not going to Manchester United. Not for a long time anyway.

I think he should make a move. It's a waste if he still plays in such a normal club like Corinthian. Tevez is very talented.

i read a few articles saying that he was initially interested in chelsea but that was never official. but then it was said that he wore a manchester united shirt to a practice one day to hint that he wants to move to man utd. id like to see him play for an italian club or maybe a spanish club (but not the big shots like real madrid or barcelona...more like atletico de madrid).
