Something to do with helping Israel. Was it authorization for Bush to do like he did in Iraq? I never got the details.

Basically they voted supporting Israel and authorized sanctions. They did NOT authorize military action by the US which is a good thing and I only looked this up because I was wondering about that too. I mean geez hadnt they learned the first time not to give this madman, Bush, that kind of authority.

Congress votes on all kinds of things all the time.

I think it was to increase funding to them. I'm not sure either.
