AUSTRALIA will stand with USA till the last man

Most countries would be. But no-doubt President Bush would cause the US to lose all the sympathy in no-time flat.

I think the problem is the 'Winner Takes All' attitude that Americans grow up with. With all the financial and military force that you guys have, you can pretty much take whatever you like. (See the movie 'Love Actually for a funny illustration of this.) You can go around ignoring treaties, overthrowing governements of countries that do not have nucleair capabilities, etc. etc. Somehow you don't seem to grasp that there's only a limited amount of bullying that the rest of the world can handle. You urinated off the Muslim world so many times that they stung you back a little. The first weeks after 9/11, Americans wondered: why does the world hate us so much? Five years later, the 9/11 misery has faded somewhat, and the US have gone back to their old habits. One of these days, a splinter cell so small that it cannot be infiltrated will hurt you again. And again, and again. And again. Until you learn the Euro-weenie lesson that it's better to find a compromise that everyone can live with, than to take all, just because you can.

One more thing. I've heard many Americans refer to the events of 9/11 as cowardly acts. But I think that if the Canadians/Americans/Brits (in short: the Allied Forces) hadn't kicked Hitler out of my country I would probably be volunteering to drill a Lufthansa plane into the Deutsch Bank by now (I'm just trying to make a point here!). When you're small and relatively weak, the only way you can get what (you think) is rightfully yours, is by stabbing your bully/opponent in his back. That's not cowardly, it's common sense. It's either that or live in oppression for the rest of your life.

It would depend on America's reaction to it. Obviously all countries (ok most countries) would have sympathy for you, but if you decide to go and invade another country again because of it, without good cause, then there's no guarantee that any country would be on your side, except maybe Israel which needs you, and the UK (if Bliar is still PM).

all countries work together to form one government to rule the world. there isn't really a good country or bad country, attacks are planned so that people can be swayed into believing that a certain cause is good or bad. basically it's just another brick in the wall, which is a bad thing for us as average citizens...

Depends on what you mean by "on America's side". If you mean unconditional support no matter what action the U.S. will take, I would say very few. The fact that many countries believe the Iraqi invasion was poorly handled doesn't mean they bear ill will towards the U.S.

Our standard allies in Nato and of course Australlia. The Europeans may not like us, but they know that they must stay our ally. We are all interdependent economically.
