I tell my daughter that the best relationships start as friends. Keep it rolling. There will be a moment when you both are laughing or having fun together when you could just kiss her. It may be what you need to do. Hope that helps.

well i know i like any guy who is cool enough to make me laugh, and be a friend for me when i feel like crap. so ask her to go to the movies with some friends and sit by her. after the movie may be ask her out. say " you know we have been friends since i was two. and i really like you, and if you feel the same way would you like to maybe be my girlfriend?"
that would capture my heart. a girl loves it when a guy can be like that.
