i am actually 15 so i know what you mean it was hard 4 me 2 find interesting books as well I really liked all the harry potter books except 4 book 5(not enough action) A Walk Across America by Peter Jenkins is always a good book it is an easier read and has very good organization although the ending i found to be lame and somewhat disapointing.... I absolutely luved Abarat by Clive Barker its a little more difficult than some other books for your age but chalenges only strengthen the mind...Angles and Demons by Dan Brown is great and then of course the Da Vinci Code...The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo is a fun fictional story about a mouse that i have read so many times (great and engaging yet fun) also, Hoot by Carl Hiaasen is amazing and my personal favorite book is Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson it was a twist on my usual fantasy readings and has brought me to tears every time ive read it it is very suspenceful and enjoyable the detail is so amazing, it really is a book where there already is a movie for it but the movie is your own..it is created in your mind...this is an amazing book and tehn when a little older i suggest speak also by her and also amazing. Well thats all i can think of. happy readings!

King Fortis the Brave is a great book about a pair of twelve-year-old twins that are brought into a magical world where they find themselves caught in a battle for control of the land. Full of adventure and humor, it is perfect for someone twelve going on thirteen (and I know a lot of adults who have enjoyed it as well)

The "Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman. Anything by Cornelia Funke, but especially Inkheart followed by Inkspell.

Try Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen or Little Woman if you are "advanced." if you are an on-track reader, but not "advanced", try I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader by Kieran Scott, or A Rose For Melinda by Lurlene McDaniel. Happy Reading!

You should read "A Dirty Job" by Christopher Moore. It's a really great book, I found it by accident at the library, and now I am reading all of his books! Check it out!

Try some Ursula K. LeGuin if you like Sci-Fi.

Other than that, I'm not too sure. I read too many books, and I can't remember the authors. D:
