I'm a kid and I use Yahoo Answers for my problems and for school. I have seen very nasty things on this website but I ignore them...Adults I trust have taught me better than to snoop around in nasty things like that. I think Yahoo Answers is a great tool but is also abused. If the kids are mature enough to ignore things that should be ignored in the first place then I think Yahoo Answers would be great for them as it is for me.

Useing yahoo answers isn't much different from useing the net, they are free to roam wherever they want unless you supervise them. So wats the problem? If you don't want your children useing it then don't let them use internet. It can be educational, and they probly find it boring anyway most kids look for the games websites.
Besides some mothers don't know the answers to their homework. It would be good to get answers that they don't know all by themselves.

I don't let mine use this service without me sitting with them, through my ID. There is a Yahoo! service just for kids called yahooligans, if they want to have fun too :)
There is such a thing as a kid mature enough to know better than to click on or to be influenced by the nasty stuff that appears here and there, but that isn't too common

I'm a teenager, with the knowledge and education that rivals most adults, but I've never really thought about this subject. Besides the annoying questions and horrible typing/grammar/spelling/etc., I've never had much of a problem with kids. I just like to help people. That's just about it.

Who cares I am a kid and I am answering questions!
A lot of people are doing the same thing and I bet half of them are kids!
So why is it so bad to have kids answer your questions and other peoples questions?
If you don't like stop answering and asking questions get a life OK!

Kids should have there own one, because I know kids have problems the same as adults but the kids one should be moderated to allow kids problems to be shared with kids....... not a free for all like this because of the massive idiots in this world that exploit our future ........... that being..........children........... grow up be happy any problems ask your parents ,thats what I did. They may surprise you with the right answers not some machine. good luck

There should be a kids version. Plus their parents are not very good parents for letting them come on here and making a fool of themselves. Whatever happen to overbearing parents. Seems like no one cares anymore about their kids....

You look like this girl named Veronica, that was in my chorus class.
Anywho, I think kids can use Yahoo! Answers, it's open to anyone not just adults, or older teens.

I really think it's annoying how people keep saying they have to be supervised by their parents. Unless if they mean like under 12 then that's probably o.k. But over it isn't, because I do notknow anyone my age, or any age that wants someone leaning over their shoulder while they're on the internet. My Mom wouldn't because she trusts me and I don't betray her trust, besides, she has other things to do besides watch me go on the internet.
