It was a simple question, Yes or No but I found myself getting lectured about it. I actually support Israel (a look through my Q's and A's would have told you that) It is funny how many people presuppose the asker's answer.

The founding of the state of Israel has caused many problems.
people were made refugees. Israels programs of expansion (conquest for the lay person) have caused a lot of problems that as we can see are costing human life even today.

The original settlers would say that no country wanted them, but that is not true.

If the situation were different and my country was chosen as the site for the state of Israel and people I knew were made into refugees, and the israeli army kept on taking more and more land over the decades and built up massive chemical and nuclear weapons and a strong army I would feel threatened.

It was a bad decision to create Israel and we are all paying for it.

Americans give 5 billion dollars a year to support their army.

Politics is so full of lies and I think with Israel it just needs to be sorted out honestly.

The Israelis can not be driven into the sea that would be just another mistake.

building massive walls and bulldozing houses and killing most of Hamas's senior leaders does not work.

nearly 500 000 palestinians have been imprisoned by israel today nearly 10 000 remain imprisoned.

The madness has to stop.

All the peoples in and surrounding Israel have a right to a life.
The continuing cycles of hatred need to stop.

Only nazi genocidal freaks question the right of Israel to exist. Israel is a soveriegn nation with a powerful military. There is no debate.

Let me rephrase the question to clear this up for you.

What you are really asking is if the muslims would be justified in killing every jew in Israel with nuclear weapons (because that is the only way Israel will cease to exist). Or how about, Hey, do you think another holocaust would be a good idea?

What type of person asks a question like this?

Of course Israel have a right 2 exsist. That like askin if the USA has to exsist and we got a whole lot more probs than them. Think bout it is it right for a country to exsist even though we in the in just the last year have aborted over 50 million babies! I don't care what anybody says thats not right it just plain barbaric.

I think emotions are running high right now and people are defensive of their positions. Especially since many members of the media and people here (and everywhere) are distorting the truth about what's going on over there (on both sides). Knee jerk reactions instead of analytical thought.

I didn't see your earlier question, but my answer is: Israel does exist. Now the question is whether or not it has a right to continue to do so. I don't believe in genocide for land, so yes they may stay there. In my opinion.

I missed your previous question, but my answer is yes. Any nation has the right to exist. By the some token, Palestinians have their rights, and so do the Kurds (Kurdistan should be carved out of Kurds territories in Iran, Iraq and Turkey). So, it's wrong what Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Syria say when they insist in not recognizing Israel's rights to exist as an independent state.

Because people are stupid. Come on, I have a group of people saying I'm racist because I asked what other reasons there would be for illegalizing slavery, aside from morality. And because I chose an answer that said that without morals, we couldn't make our laws.
I reiterate my first statement: People are stupid. They see what they want to see. If they want you to be a racist bigot, they'll find a way, however insipid, to prove that they're right.

Israel is a nation and as such is not a human being possessing rights.

Israel does exist. If you have to ask, you're questioning the status quo.

If you don't know what you're doing, why are you asking questions at all?

Many people on both sides of the political spectrum do have a tendency to jump to conclusions, not us though ;)
