My admiration of JL Borges is complicated; I found that his short stories were so good that I knew I could never write that well, this makes my feelings toward him mixed. But in 1982 when the UK and his native Argentina were fighting over the Falkland Islands/Las Islas Malvinas he decribed it as "Two Bald Men FIghting over a comb."
