seen this a lot in the corporate world, where bosses will have a different view than the rest, but go with what most people are trying to influence them to do. And if other people were to speak against it, their job would be on the line. Why?

Well, if you know what you are talking about then don't follow the crowd, even if you get in trouble you follow your heart. But, before you follow your heart you have to have evidence about what you disagree with or majority will rule. Most people who don't know something they follow the crowd because they think the crowd is right even though in reality they're wrong. You also have to get some people to agree with your opinion so you won't get over ruled. Also some people think that if a lot of people agree with something then they must be right, but in some cases they are wrong. I hope this has answered your interesting question. God Bless!

It's always a minority of the population that think the majority is wrong.

But I thought in the corporate world it was the minority at the top that decided what was what? Do you belong to some kind of corporation where the workers have a vote?

Because they are *sskissers, if they don't go along with the majority they will probably not ever see advancement within the company. We call them "brown nosers" where I work. Same as *sskissers.
