I'm pregnant with my 4th child. My husband and I purchased a test prior to finding out a week before..The first test was negative. I continued to have signs of pregnancy but a second test did confirm I was pregnant a week later.

Sometimes, it's too early for HPT to detect the chemical that's found in your urine when pregnant. Again, IF you had sex 2 weeks ago, it MAY be too early...

If you have concerns speak with your physician..That's what they are paid to do.

It very well could be. I started getting morning sickness about 5 days before I was due (lucky me!), so I decided to take the home pregnancy test. I used it first thing in the morning when the pregnancy hormone is the strongest, and voila! It showed I was pregnant. Since I'm a cheap-o, I just used the Wal Mart generic and it worked just fine.

I hope you get the result you want!

Q: When can I do the test?
A: You can test as early as 4 days before you expect your period. You can use the FIRST RESPONSE® Early Result Pregnancy Test any time of the day. You don’t have to use first morning urine. Generally, however, your first morning urine contains the highest level of the pregnancy hormone.
