No people are not tired of America. There is still a lot of envy out there by those who do not live her, or have not been able to immigrate here. Likewise there is a lot of envy by the Dems and libs for not being in power for the last number of years. They can blame themselves.

Like the twisted garbage Paul S has posted above. Boy is he seeing things through a bent prism.

When people stop wanting to immigrate here, you'll know they are tired of America.

Yes, that's one way to put it. Right wing talk radio sure does seemed to have tapped into a large market of people who have apparently decided that they're not so fond of American values after all, and would just as soon have just another theocracy or monarchy. I have no idea what could be done to make people enthusiastic about America again, though of course the Clinton presidency helped. We've got to get past that talk radio problem, that's for sure, if we want to ever have people care for America again.

For example, notice that "scubadiver" (below) refers to my patriotism as "twisted garbage". That's the problem that America faces today.

the only thing i am tired of in america is the way we think we have to stomp into different countries and show them a thing or two
america is the land of the free...we have tons of people coming here everyday, if they were tired of it, why would they be coming here...legal or not?

Hardly. As long as people keep flocking into this country, their not tired of it. I don't see too many people flocking to China or Iran or places like that.

I think people are getting tired of America pushing its weight around, and bullying other countries. The Bush administration has managed to create fear among other nations, to the point where they believe they must develop their own nuclear weapons of mass destruction as a defense against the bully Bush, and the new 'evil empire' he has created.
Bush and his wicked conspirators, LimpDick Cheney and DumbDon Rumsfeld, along with the most evil, corrupt, greedy and incompetent U.S. Congress in history, seem to believe that any conflict can be resolved with enough guns and ammo.
People are getting tired of the Bush tactics, lies, deception, incompetency, stupidity, and avarice.

It's time for Americans and the rest of the civilized world to put Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld on trial for crimes against humanity, and - if convicted - force them to face a public firing squad.

Cheney and Rumsfeld persuaded our simpleton President to illegally and unconstitutionally invade Iraq because they knew he had a personal vendetta against Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm. Cheney wanted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so he and his Exxon-Mobile buddies could get richer and richer and richer. Rumsfeld wanted to play 'soldier' with real tanks and bombs, making his friends in the military-industrial complex richer and richer and richer.

There was never any deep commitment to turn Iraq into a democracy. The only motive was revenge and greed. The whole world (with the exception of Rush Limbaugh's dittoheads and Fox News' shouting heads) recognizes what a blatantly nefarious act this was. Now American taxpayers are stuck with TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, which means our quality of life and our nation's economic stability will be threatened for years to come (if it can ever be resumed). Failed economic policies will drive this country into a severe economic depression shortly after George Bush leaves office.

Bush has ruined our country's reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper. Are people getting tired of America?

Certainly, they're tired of George Bush and his team of terrorists. The sooner he and Cheney are out of office, the quicker we can hopefully put someone in charge who might understand the need to apologize to the rest of the world and pledge to restore our country to its rightful place as a superpower instead of its wrongful place as a country led by a band of murdering despots. -RKO-

no way dude. we are fortunate to live here. I moved to the US from Sweden 9 years ago, and I love it here. Anybody that says something different should move to Iraq, Cuba, or Afghanistan and see what it is like there.
