go buy the screenwiters bible!!!! its written by: david trottier it is the best and only book you will need to write a screenplay. i have written a few myself and rely havily on thi book. also pick up the character name sourcebook!

I would strongly recommend going to your nearest university and enroll in a screen writing course. The process is much more involved than you would think. When writing fiction, you can describe scenes much differently than you would with a movie script. It's a whole different type of skill, so you're better off learning to do it right the first time.

Im guessing you start w/ writting the main idea of the story yourr writting, with characters, and the setings. Then you can write the script.
