im am ineed of some serious school shopping and i think the tax free holiday was this weekend but would it by chance continue into next weekend?? thanx

It varies a little by state, so check this link to be sure of the dates in your state (and if your state is participating!): http://www.taxadmin.org/fta/rate/sales_holiday.html.
Some states are running it other weekends, or multiple times even. There are even restrictions on what can be purchased and the dollar limits.

it is this weekend only and in some paces there are limits on what you can get. I am going to take advantage of it and get a new computer. Im Missouri most of the cities and the counties are knocking off the state tax, but you still have to pay a city tax. For example our state tax here is 6.6% but for this weekend, all we have to pay is the state tax that is 2.75% on everything. So it is still lower, but not much...

well im guessing in your state is only one weekend cause thats how it is in mostly every other state...but it depends where u live there might not even be one?....yeah so check the news for you to see when and if u have or have not missed the tax free weekend in your state....hope i was some help to you

It is usually only one weekend, and varies depending on your state. The tax free weekend also doesn't take into account municipality taxes, and you may still owe those depending on where you shop.

Today is Friday, so it will be going on all weekend. You have plenty of time ! You will still be able to get all you need if you can do it before midnight , Sunday.
