Oooooo, tough one.... I say be practical about it. keep your identity on the down-low until you build up your financial stability. When you move out, then be free to do whatever you want. Your parents will probably never accept you. They're too old to change so do what is legistically better for yourself.

Remember parents want the best for their children, and also remember that everyone is entitled to their views and opinions and you as well as we all should respect that. Doing so will take you around the world with lavish riches without opening your wallet or swiping your credit card. What I mean is that people want to know and share wealth and knowledge with those who are intelligent and respectful of others, especially in disagreements.
VERY IMPORTANT: Before a person can make decisions and live a productive and healthy life, he/she must get instructions, and primary instructors are parents. You are the child and your mother and father are parents because God made it that way and when you have children/neices and nephews then you will be able to instruct, because you would have acquired life skills and knowledge as a result of your life experiences. Operate on intelligence and not because you feel a certain way and I guarentee you will be successful and happy when it matters in life, okay!
