Has anyone ever got one of those notifications in email that says you've won money and then actually received the money? I just got a notice saying CONTACT CLAIMS AGENT(BRITISH LOTTERY WINNING NOTIFICATION) And I'm not even British, lol.

Its a hoax designed to get you to send money to the address listed . You can't win a lottery if you do not enter . You also cannot receive lotto winnings from another country unless you are a citizen or living legally with in the borders of that country . I did receive a notice once and checked with a friend who is a international attorney and he gave me the information I gave you above .

Many times and I challenged them to prove it is a valid lottery and how my name was entered. Never got a satisfactory answer. It's a scam to get your id and financial info in order to raid your accounts, credit cards included.

STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!

It's a scam, they're looking for bank account or credit card information, my sister learned that the hard way.
