Go to Kmart. In the pool section they have testers. The store also sells a great product that actually is called Ph up, Ph down, etc. Take a look. I believe you'll be very happy.

If you take a sample of your pool water to a pool store, they can tell you exactly what you will need. Sometimes it is not just the PH that needs to be corrected. I used to own a pool and it is the best way other than just adding chemicals and not knowing how much of what to put in.

They have ph plus that usually takes care of that.
