I would really want to interfere, it would be great to be able to talk to my ancestors and learn the forgotten truth about my direct past. But I don't think I could go through with it because even the smallest changes could cause a chain of events to build up to something huge (for better or worse, I wouldn't know).

If you've seen Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure/Bogus Journey, Charmed, Back to the Future, Butterfly Effect, (the list goes on...), you'll know that it's best to observe... Unless I had a friend like Al in Quantum Leap to advise me, then I'd interefere til I got bored.

Besides, if you think about it, today is the history of tomorrow, so observe or interfere as much as you like. Just be prepared for the consequences!

I don't want that kind of responsibility. What if I do interfere and make things worse than they were before and then try again and its even more worse, like in that movie, The Butterfly Effect. No thank you. I think I might cheat the stock market just a little though :).

First I would have to observe. How would I know if I wanted to interfere in an event I haven't seen yet?

I'd interfere to change the future we are all currently living. How much, it's impossible to predict.
