how do i use newsgroups to download movies and why do i need agent with giganews?

Agent is a newgroup reader. You will also need to get yproxy to read also. Most of the posting on newsgroups use yenc, its encoding to use less bandwith and faster downloads. agent and yproxy are free and you may need to download winrar to unpack some files. In news groups movies are broken into many pieces so that can be uploaded. If you have dialup dont even bother to start downloading. it will take days to get one movie. There is antother program called JAS that you will need to use to put the movies back together. I hope this helps.
