I have a 1999 Ford Explorer and having a problem. First my car sounded like it was having a flat (check no flat) coutinued to drive and the car started to vibrated after stopping and seem like it didn't want to stop. Do anyone know what might be going on ?

You've got a wheel bearing about to go out on you.
You need to get that replaced asap before it fails.
Then it'll cost a whole lot more from the additional damage.

True enough. I believe Ford is recalling some explorers, but I couldn't tell you the year(s). If you are the original owner, and yours is one of those being recalled, they should notify you via snail mail.

That aside, has anyone other than yourself driven the vehicle (children or other family members)? Could be there was some damage done do to some sort of accident (the kid 'boonie crashing' for example) that you may not have been told about.

Have it checked at once. It is unsafe to drive, and as someone else has quite rightly pointed out, further damage may result.

Good luck.

Sounds bad. Noises that are abnormal in any way should be dealt with immediately. Have it towed to a repair shop.

Oh, and bring your checkbook. Suspension problems in SUV's can be expensive.
