I got a reading of 160 and just wanted to know if I should go by that. I have three kids and my girls were 160 and lower, but my son was also 160 and lower.

Yes you have a 50% that its a boy.

No you can't. Only with ultrasound at about 20 weeks. However, with both of my children I knew in my heart what they were from the moment I found out I was pregnant and I was right. First a girl now a boy.

It's not an exact science but the girls have stronger heart beats, my daughter was always over 150 and very strong. Don't forget as you said your son was the same, only an ammnio can give you a definite answer.

No you can not tell that way. The nurse asked me if i was having a girl when she listened to my babies heartbeat. But I already knew that I was having a boy. And he was definetly born a boy.

i heard the same thing, and my son is always btw 135 - 150, very strong and regular. sound like another girl.......but i do agree with the person that wrote it is an intuition thing. i just knew when i found out i ws pregnant that he was a boy, despite people telling me the opposite.

When I was pregnant, my doctor told me that the heartbeats of boys in the womb are slower than girls.

They told me I was having a boy by the heartbeat and when she was born, I was surprised. Don't believe everything you hear.

not really. I have 4 boys and they all had different rates of heartbeats from slower to faster.

well I have thre boys and I thought I was having a girl once but I was told everytime that girls you carry higher up and boys you carry lower and it was true for me and my friends we all have boys

Supposedly the faster the heart beat its girl. It isn't always true though
