I was due for my pd on July 28th. I would have conceived on July 26th. I haven't gotten my pd yet but have been having a lot of weird feelings in my lower belly and experienced a small amout of spotting for like 30 mins that occured 2 separate days... I tested today (aug. 4) but it turned out negative... is it too soon to determine pregnancy? or does this sound like some other health issue?

It could be a health issue or you are getting ready to start. Try the test again tomorrow or try the early predictor pregnancy test. Good luck and don't worry or it will make it worse.

If you were due for your period on July 28th, then you would have had to have sex on about July 14th, in order to get pregnant. It's 14 days from ovulation (when the egg floats down the tube to seek a sperm) to the 1st day of your next period.

You are 1 week past your period, and that's the minimum amount of time they say to wait before testing. If you get a negative, they say wait a few more days & try again. I'd wait at least two weeks... those home pregnancy tests are expensive.

And yes, that fluttery feeling in your lower abdomen could very well be the uterus preparing itself for pregnancy. I felt that every time I was pregnant.

Conception usually occurs around two weeks before a period is due, give or take a few days depending on the woman. If you had sex two days before your period was due, then your chances of getting pregnant are actually low compared to other times of the month. Usually, a pregnancy test will come up positive as soon as the first day after your missed period.

I would wait another 3 days and then take another one. Every three days your Hcg levels go up. This sounds like it could be implantiation bleeding. Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping Good luck

i think it is a little soon. i got negative pregnancy test when i was 3 days late with my period. i waited 9 days until i got a positive, and am now 8 months pregnant. however, after i got this result i was already 6 weeks gone, so i'm not sure how u can test a week or so with accuracy unless you get a blood test from the doctor. best of luck!!

Yes its way too soon. Unless you take a blood test by your dr you will test negative until at least 5 days before your missed pd then you can take an at home test. Just hold your horses until then

Well, have u put yourself in a situation where u could get prg? you should go to a DR> and see what may be going on. Stomach apins can occur for a million and 1 reason so i reccomend you call one.

15 days is the present standard, though some tests advertise 1 week.

does it feel like a "butterfly" in your lower abdomen? cause mine felt like that when i got pregnant. wait for a few more days. your hormones probably havent had a chance to change much for the testers to pick up and read for you. go to a doctor and try. theirs may be a little better.
