Homosexuals spew more hatred, bigotry, anger, profanity, intolerance and venom at people on the Christian right than any other group, even more than skin heads and Nazi wannabe's.

Maybe we are just holding the mirror, reflecting back at people what they give to us

I actually think you have that.. flipped.
The Christian right is always spewing hatred, bigotry, anger, profanity, intolerance and venom towards homosexuals. Not every single member of the Christian right, but most conservatives are blatantly intolerant of non-heterosexuals (i.e. homosexual, bisexuals, anyone who likes the same sex).
This hatred, bigotry, anger, etc. that you are speaking of is probably just expression of our unappreciation of this intolerance you all "spew" at us.
You all are, after all, the ones who are the fans of that whole "eye for an eye" system. So don't complain when you get a taste of your own medicine. I don't agree with anyone being intolerant of anyone else, but please don't be surprised.

By the way, skin heads and Nazi wannabe's are an extreme part of the Christian right.

Who have you been talking you? You're a hypocrite, how dare ask such a question, and then say gay people are worse than skin heads and Nazis?
Have you met very many gay people? Because I am not like that, but did you ever think some of that anger was justified and due? Have you seen what some of these so-called Christians post here, in our section? People like you, who generalize everyone as a whole when you have no right to.
You're calling US intolerant? No, I believe you were looking in the mirror when you asked that question, my friend, because you are the intolerant one here, not us.

I do not think as a group gays and lesbians are intolerant at all.

With that said I think all of us are extremely tired and fed up with the religious right telling us how to live our lives. If I want your opinion I would ask it.

What you see as hatred, bigotry, and anger, I see as a defense to repeated assaults by the religious right.

I don't care how you live your life why do you, or perhaps I should say, the religious right, care how I live mine?

Wow, have you been misinformed! You CANNOT really be serious! Look at all of the gay bashing questions on this website, all asked by supposedly "Christian" people. While I'm sure there are some hate filled homosexuals in the world, I would say that most of them get defensive because they are constantly bombarded by Christians. Being told that they are going to burn in hell for eternity, that they're sinners, their abominations, there not normal, mentally ill, disgusting, revolting creatures that should not be allowed to live. You get told these things enough times and I'm sure that you to would become angry at the people spewing all that hatred at you, don't you think!
And all the Christians who are telling them this are playing God themselves by being judge and jury of all other people. Which according to the bible is the biggest sin of all. There is only one God and it is up to him, and him alone, to judge.

I had to take time to wipe away the tears from laughing before answering this. Oh my...lmao.

Gee, could it be because the Christian Wrong tells them so often "don't hate the sinner, hate the sin" while they are judging them to beat the band? Could it be because they are sick of turning the other cheek and taking their nonsensical abuse? Could it be because they have to hear nasty untrue garbage about themselves from self-righteous fools who love to throw stones and don't really know the first thing about gay's lives but have no problem believing anything they are told by their religious leaders? I don't really know any truly intolerant homosexuals. But, I do know plenty of them that are highly sick and tired of being preached at and told they're going to hell by hypocritical fundies.

Believe me friend, it isn't only homosexuals that are sick and tired of the self-righteous nauseating Christian Wrong. There's a good reason why those idiots can't even get the votes they need for the first step to adding discrimination to our Constitution. This isn't a friggin' theocracy and there's plenty of us - yes, even straight people (lol) who are tired of those who think it is.

Probably because that is what is drilled into our heads by christianity: hatred, intolerance, violence, ignorance, etc.

If the Christians in your life said that you were a wretched sinner and you were going to hell:

if your friends all had horror stories of their christian families rejecting them:

if Christianity had a history of persecuting you and your people:

if Christians were protesting the funerals of your friends and family:

if Christians had a history of subjecting your friends and family to psychological 'treatments' that amount to torture, ie., 'aversion' therapy and shock therapy:

you would probably have violent reactions and great amounts of anger. You would probably spew endless amounts of venom at Christians, too.

UGH! Here we go with the grouping thing again! I just got on a gay guy for grouping Christians together and making judging us without meeting every single one of us. Now you are saying every gay is the same! Stop it! We are all people and no one deserves to be treated this way whether they're right or wrong.

being oppressed for quite some time now gives them a little liscense to return the favor, frat boy. being on the receiving end of a little intolerace should be informative for you. remember that gays didn't set this type of behavior into motion and are not responsible for dampening its historical cycle. i recommend you be careful where you lay the blame, not all intolerance is the same.

Obviousely you are misinformed, probally by the media.
1) Not all gays are the same
2) Not all gays even portray themselves gay
3) I know a lot of gays(men and women) who are more loving and understanding of EVERYBODY than almost any straight person
