Stonehenge was created by the Druids, that lived around England long before Roman invasion. It was probably crafted using lots of dirt and levers + manpower to get them heavy stones where they are today. its a sheer marvel, even by todays standards. its just so well made, that it defies logic. Id say they built it to pay homage to there gods, much like the Egyptians did And i know you guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but theres a great chance that it was made with the incredible magic of the earth, these druids were able to tapp into the flow of life and communicate with the tress and animals, you can always dream that they did this and the forest gods made this for men so dedicated to mother earth..

Most scientists agree on the modern theory that three tribes built Stonehenge at three separate times. In approximately 3000 B.C., it is believed that the first people to work on the site were Neolithic agrarians. The Beaker people, or Beaker Folk, are believed to be the second. The Wessex Peoples are considered the third and final peoples to work on Stonehenge. They arrived around 1500 B.C.

Investigations over the last 100 years have revealed that Stonehenge was built in several stages from 2800 - 1800 BC. It seems to have been designed to allow for observation of astronomical phenomena - summer and winter solstices, eclipses, and more.

The most popular current theory involves the blocks being quarried several hundred miles away from their current location and rolled on a bed of logs to their current location. As to what it was made for and why, nobody knows, although everyone seems to have a pet theory.

Nobody really knows for sure why it was made, but most people think the stones were somehow moved there from Wales.

Stonehinge was made when people felt like they needed a small fenced in area to keep their poodles. They had to use stone because metal fencing hadn't been created yet

Power conduit. Like acupuncture on the earth. I was there and you ca actually feed the energy flow even though it has been 'disabled' by missing stones and a road running through it.
What that power was used for? Dunno, healing maybe. Talking to the gods, getting high. Who knows.
