I love NASCAR and am definitely not a redneck. I am from MI and I have an education. I work for NASCAR and run my own business which takes brains as well as manners. I hate how people assume you are a redneck backwoods hillbilly without all your teeth just because you love racing. It's irritating and just shows how uneducated on the sport they really are.

Not every NASCAR fan is a redneck, this isn't the 60's anymore. It is now a nationwide sport, not only followed in the South the way it used to me.

Luvnascar and I agree with 007. Get over this Redneck thing we are not livin in the 60's the last I heard it is 2006. Right? By the way I'm from TN too !! The thing of it is I've been to every State in the US and every State has different kinds of people with different personalties, likes, dislikes, etc.
