They're an excellent band and I think they should find someone and go out on their own...

Dude the House Band freaking Rocks. I don't think I know of a group of Talented guys like them. I agree they need someone to headline for them they can play anything. "WORLDS BEST HOUSE BAND!"

All I know, is if they were to pick Zayra as the new singer, they're lose a lot of fans because nobody likes her. I can't stand her and her wierd outer space performances. She's a joke. She can't sing and they know it. They should've eliminated Patrice because she still landed in the bottom 3 even when Tommy played the drums behind her. I didn't like her performance. With that in their mind that she still got in the bottom 3 even with Tommy, then they should've just gone ahead and eliminated her 'cause she can't do it. And it was unfair that Dana left 'cause I liked her performance and she was one of the best singers there. She was one of my favorites and I wanted her to at least be in the top 5 but she didn't even make it in the top 10. I was shocked to know that she was in the bottom 3 'cause I think she did good. I laughed when Zayra sang that 867-5309 song 'cause I think she did horribly and it was so ridiculous. The judges didn't even know what to say to her 'cause it was so weird. I'm telling ya, she should go.
And yeah, that would be nice if the House band got their own lead singer. Sorry for not answering your original question.

um... that IS what they are doing but on TV.. you don't think they had anything to do with choosing the finalists???
besides, doing it this way gets them a TON of buzz and ready-made fans once they go on tour
