Not that there's no reason to trust me, but if he acts like this with a stupid password, how is he gonna act when it comes to shareing our money.

Buying a house, is the biggest commintment we can make. Not to mention a whole lot of money is involved.
That kind of purchase requires a whole lot of trust, and it seems you don't have that just now.
I'd say, don't do it.

I can't understand why you are even asking this. I know you know in your heart the answer all-ready. I don't think you should buy a house with anyone who want you to share all the expenses, shack up and not have the decency to ask you to marry him. I also would be suspicious of him not wanting you to have a password. What is there to hide, and why in all honesty do you need to have it? I think there are alot of problems waiting for the both of you. It does not sound like either of you have really taken the time to REALLY get to know each other, and it does not sound like either of you trusts the other. You better wait .

I'm a lawyer. From a legal perspective: DON'T YOU DARE. Marriage protects proeprty rights and if you two break up with a house between you and one or both of you want the house....it will be UGLY. Don't do it.
