You're posting in the wrong spot, unless Pat writes a book about it. Nevertheless, Pat has accomplished very little in his life in the way of change. His opinion on climate change is irrelevant.

This is good news, can you supply a link.

we are currently pumping millions of tons of CO2 and CO and other chemicals into the atmosphere. One can say there is absolutly zero effect or there is some effect. If you admit there is any effect at all, that we need to do something.

The problem is it is so easy to spread confusion and doubt.

all you have to do is remove the old tobacco industry 'scientists' from moth balls and wind them up again...

you remember the tobacco industry 'scientist' the ones who claimed there was no proof that tobacco caused cancer...

just like the holocaust deniers... they say there is no proof

all you need is a small handfull of 'experts' and a media PR person and then all of a sudden the Munchkins get equal billing with the entire body of real science on the nightly news. Everyone then thinks there is a real controversy, real doubt, when there isn't.

They do this with intelligent design and creationism and look what a small group of 'experts' did to Kerry's medals from Viet Nam.

throwing fictitious doubt on real issues has become an art form.

The Munchkins of America don't want to have to deal with analysis or solutions or make tough decisions, they just want a cheery little world that will take care of it's self and they can go about their merry way without having to give up anything.

Global warming is most likely a natural phoenomenon.

If you look at fossils that we find in Antarctica and Canada, this proves that most of the world was a lot warmer at one point in time. Just because people are living on the planet now, with their hyped up cars and whatnot doesn't make this accelerate any faster.

There used to be temperate forests where there is now ice. I dn't see why people get freaked out about this anyway, I mean, if something's happening and we can't stop it, why worry about it? And why would one person changing their views help get anything done?

I'm sorry. I cannot accept anything Pat Robertson proclaims as credible. I thank God Christianity was well established before Pat Robertson proclaimed himself a prophet and political activist. His media brain-washing of the ill and aged is a sad event every day.

This is the guy who advocates murder. I wouldn't be excited by anything he says. Isn't he just doing that to promote his 700 club? If people believe that Armageddon is just around the corner then he gets more customers so he can live his life of luxury. I would be more, and am more concerned when well respected scientists tell us the news.
