I know it is a small thing but here in Canada citizens can write to their federal politicians and the Prime Minister by throwing a letter into the mail with no stamp. This encourages everyone to let the politician know how you feel and think about issues. Does the United States have a similar system? No wise cracks about the cost of postage please, for some it does matter. This is only true for Federal politicians, provincial politicians can only be contacted by mail with stamps.

nicely, I actual have twin citizenship (Canada and US). Following are extra desirable: economic equipment, sort of imported products (end result and the such), the milk tastes extra desirable (particular, it extremely is in a bag). additionally, Canada has hockey, maple syrup, and 2 legit languages. Canada isn't probably that chilly until you're in Northern Canada. Seeing as how Canada borders the US, places like Toronto have comparable climate to Buffalo and the such. Vancouver's climate is amazingly corresponding to Seattle.

You can write your congressman, but you do need to stamp it. I don't think many of the congressman read them though. Many people probably write the President but I doubt he reads any of them. I don't think many people do it in the USA because it is pointless to do so.

No we don't have that but I don't remember the last time I mailed a letter. I write to my congressmen via e-mail.
