No, when the battery is full, it's full.
If you keep it plugged in a while longer (as in, a few hours/days) you'll just be generating a whole lot of heat. The heat, can actually cause the battery to lose its charge faster.

No - that will actually make it crap out sooner. Those types of batteries can develop a "memory" effect if you don't drain them completely before recharging them - this will make it run down sooner and sooner over time, and eventually they will reach a point where they won't even take the charge.

not at all, it will only charge to the point where it is full, and the more you charge it the sooner t will konk out for good, after about a year your ipod will become a vegetable, you really should have got a player by creative.

The battery will not last longer, the battery may infact just last less time the more u overcharge ur ipod. u could just messup ur ipod forever by doing that.

NO. It has a maximum capacity for battery usage. If you continue to pump gas into your car after the gas tank is full, will the car go further? No. You just wasted gas by spilling it out everywhere. Please don't waste energy.
