1st go to internet options top of page under tools....top right of the next box that comes up at the bottomg hit default hit apply...then go to start and control panel in windows xp and then to sounds speech and audio devices ...make sure your settings are correct in there...update windows in your xp updates and make sure your java is up to date at http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp hope that helps

Sounds it is a power supply issue. Maybe your power supply cannot handle the load, or it is defective. Call your warranty granter about it.
