Sounds like your video is larger flows past the left screen edge and you need to reconfigure your monitor. Or you can go to the top panel and drag the program to the left.

Maximize should not hide the scroll bars. Chances are that it is not maximized but sized for a floating window that is larger than the screen. Try to grab blue bar and move the window. If you can move it then it is not maximized. Then you just move it until you find the side of the window. Move the cursor until it makes a <-> looking arrow, then you can shrink it in that dimension. Do it for the bottom too.

If the screen is maximized, you might have an issue with the monitor being spread too much. Use the controls on the monitor to shrink the screen back within the visible bounds of the display.

If that doesn't work then maybe you are using an expanded screen. Check Display Properties (in Control Panel or right click on the desktop and select Properties) and go from there.

Hmmm...doesnt look quite like a programming question [no prog language??], so im asuming its the regular "Restore" what you're looking for. From the top right section of your browser you will find [from left to right] Minimize, Restore and Close. Click the second one and you are able to drag the corners of your window to set its size
