pushing to hard can lead to injures to the intestines, colan and rectum with tearing in the tissue and lead to other very serious health problem. It could help to drink alot of water, sometime the body doesn't have enough water for the natural flow of things. Another is stool softners, there are not the same as laxatives but can loosin and soften thing up to get things moving. If the problem last more thaqn a week or so or pain starts seek help from a doctor.

Contributes to varicose veins and hemorrhoids and in some cases causes a heat attack. Cascara Sawgrada is an effective natural stool softner and is non addictive; makes passing stool easier. It can be purchased from any store that sells vitamin; comes in a capsule. Very important to add fiber and water to your diet as well. Hope this helps.

Straining your stomach too much for getting it out certainly has negative effects. Try drinking lots of water (plain water), consuming bananas helps a lot (as said by grandmas) and finally give it some time to come out on its own. Relax. Its natural. Everybody does it.

Waiting can be best. Straining will cause hemorrhoids. Increase the fiber in your diet if you find you have to strain to pass your bowel movements.

Yes this is bad, it can cause hemmoroids. If you are costipated, buy some laxitives or stool softeners to help.
