I have 4 days til i'm due but my stomach has been bloated for the past 7 days. It constantly feels like when you have eaten a really big meal and can't move afterwards. I am probably feeling paranoid that i may be pregnat (not that its a bad thing), but I haven't changed my diet at all. I can't really say that I have any other major symptons, because it seems they could be either menstral or pregnancy signs. Oh how confusing this all is! I know the best thing to do is wait a week or so and then see my doctor if nothing changes, but just wondered if any of you lovely ladies out there have had any similar experiances? Thank you so much.

Congratulations, first of all! During the final days before the actual birth, the baby tends to start moving, positioning her/his self correctly in your womb (Amazing, isn't it?) hence, leaving you to feel bloated and abit uncomfortable. Not that I'm a doctor, but that's how I felt during my pregnancy and this was the explanation that I received from my doctor...my son was born just fine and is now a extremely healthy boy. Don't worry, okay?

Again, congratulations and best of luck to you!

She's due for her period, not her due date... person who answered first....

Well thats the thing with pregnancy symptoms they are a lot like pms symptoms. Every time i thought i was pg cause i had a symptom that i normally didnt 'have when i was pms ing i ended up adding another symptom to pms instead of being pg. Bloating, pressure there thats a bit different than bloating, sore breasts, nausea, all that stuff. Now its impossible to tell for me and now i'm a month late and getting neg home tests and will have to go get a blood test. Just keep breathing it will be ok.

Bloating was one of my very first symptoms I got with my pregnancy. Even before my pregnancy test came back positive, I was having trouble with bloating (and bad!). It's due to the increase of progesterone in your system once you're pregnant, progesterone slows down your digestive track (it slows down all your smooth muscle) causing gas, constipation, bloating, etc.

The bloating with my pregnancy was much worse than any bloating I get around my period. And I was horribly gassy, too!
