dont say jimmi hendrix s the best.i know it but jimi is not alive!kirk hammet s even faster thn hendrix..hes solos are so cool and deep..althought james hetfield made those solos,but nobody can play thm like tht except kirk.agree?jason newsted s the best dont even doubt bout it.just remmember him in black album and justice for all live concerts and s&m..whos better and cooler thn him?nobody!

i do agree that Kirk is a very good guitarist but not the best alive....there's always someone better....as for the bassist Jason was pretty good....but i sure doubt it that he's the best alive..
