Conde is an extremely talented person, and I would give her serious consideration. Her view on affirmative action makes me pause, but I would certainly be open to listening to her platform. She has proved to me that she can keep her cool, now I just need to see the rest.

Don't care that she is black or a woman, I vote for the person who has the best qualifications and the best interest of the country, black, white, purple, green who cares, we all bleed the same red blood and genetically speaking we are all the same, there are like eight differences eye, hair, skin, don't remember the rest but if you remove these then all people are the same that is why i don't answer questionnaires that ask race, I put American in that spot, i never answer the race questions.

It's tricky politically, for both reasons. Oddly, I know many women who are prejudiced against other women in office. It's likely there are African Americans with the same viewpoint against similar race running for office. It's hard to figure. I don't think being black matters so much more than being a woman does. She's got it rough being both. Winning----that would be a remarkable feat!

It doesn't matter to most people I hope that she is black or a woman. What matters is that she is part of a corrupt government. She will not run for office, and if by some miracle she does, I sure would not vote for her unless she publicly admits that what the government did in Iraq and by funding Israel's murderous terror spree was wrong.

Neither matters. She is a competent Secretary of State. What does it matter if she is female or black? No one asked these questions about Albright (she was not born in the US by the way). We all preach about equality in race and gender, but it is exactly these questions that sets us back.

Why is it a problem to point out she's Black? she is , ain't she? so what. She's a woman too, people talk about that too. She has a gap in her teeth....her hair is sometimes funny.....maybe more tailored suits would flatter her better...We all notice, we have eyes and are human. All that doesn't matter ultimately.
No one can disagree that she's an intelligent person and a formidable politician.

What bothers me is that she's a Republican and a female version of Bush......I don't care if she's Black, Green, or Pink with Blue polka dots.....she's still a female Bush.....therefore, she's extremely dangerous to world peace.

it would be great to have a black lady run for president, but i am interested in her politics not gender or race. she will have to prove that she can be a strong leader, be able to take poop for Americans will dish it just as hard if not harder as other presidents.

No, what matters is that she has been corrupted by the den of thieves that is the Bush White House.

I think it matters more that she is a woman rather than her being black.
