I also ran a scan computer with my anti-virus software and it did not detect anything. Any help would be greatly appriciated. thank you very much.

1) Delete all the Cookies and Temp Files (then restart)

2) Run a Scan Disk or Error Checker to make sure there are no problems on the Hard Drive.

3) Run the Defragmentation Utility, "Defrag", then restart again.

1 defrag the system
2 download Ad-Aware SE Personal. use it often. spy ware and ad ware slows a computer down.
3. you may have a virus. run an update on you anti-virus program and run it again, or go to McAfee's website and run their free scan. It takes a long time to scan but it'll tell you what errors there are.

You will see a lot of very good answers above. I'll add the following:

Clean up your start up group. Click on start - Run - type 'msconfig' - click on startup tab. You will see a listing of programs which startup when you start you pc. I use the following website to check against:
www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php

Also if you search via yahoo or google you can find some free programs which can cleanup your registry.

It's just my guess, but it could be too many "cookies". You will have to delete them. These take up space. You might need to disfragmentate your system from time to time. You can program your computer to clean out all the junk you don't need ,while you sleep....good luck

Scan for spyware and do a system defrag. Use Ad-Aware and spybot. Then go to trendmicro.com and use their free house call.
