I am lucky I haven't had a period since my last baby [8 years ago], and my doc is okay with that. so am I. [ I'm on Depo, if you don't want periods depo is defo]. Just think of the money you save on tampons

count 21 days sence your last period thats when you start ovulating and you usually start bleeding 5 to 7 days later. wear a thin pad just in case

EVERY BODY'S different. Some, thier boobs swell, others your cramps show up like 10-20 minutes just before it happens, some get the salty craving, others get the sugar cravings, some their ankles and throat swell slightly. Everyone's different. :) Me, I am the lucky one who get the cramps 10-15 minutes just as it happens with the combination of DARK CHOCOLATE CRAVINGS :)

I really don't think there is any way you will know other than you will see blood one day for the first time when you use the restroom, which may or may not be accompanied by cramps before or after.

Well, it depends on the women. Some experience pain, stomach aches, bloating, and/ or mood swings. Some women don't have these symptoms. They just have the blood.

Usually my breasts get very tender and sore. I also feel a little bit nautious, and I want to be left alone. You just sort of have an uneasy feeling in your stomach.

If its your first time getting your period it will most likely look like brown stains in your underware....,but most of the time you pretty much know when you see blood in your underware...

Well usually your boobs will start to hurt, an you will start PMS'ing(pre menstral syndrome), where you feel irritable, n have lots of mood changes, my mom gets that real bad

You'll know. There will be blood. Maybe you'll only spot at first...but I didn't. Mine was heavy from the start.
