I hear a lot of rumors about cow tipping, but I have also heard that it is impossible to actually tip a cow because they would wake up before you even got the chance to tip them over. Has anyone out there actually successfully tipped a cow?

First off, you're going to need more than one person to do it. A cow is a big creature, they can withstand a lot. Of course, catching them offguard is the only successful way of doing it. You can also kill them by knocking them down, and if you get shot by a farmer, then good, b/c it's a stupid thing to do in the first place. A friend of mine tried to tip a cow, and the cow realized and started chasing him and his friends for a good mile before they lost the cow. Stupid friends...

I grew up in the hills of east Tennessee and I have tipped a cow or two. It can be done although you should avoid the Bull ... LOL

Fact. It is one of the things us rednecks do for laughs. You are out country cruisin' and see some cows sleeping, and you have to sneak up on them, and push them over. And for you bleeding hearts out there, don't worry, it doesn't hurt the cow.

It's a fact they sleep standing up, if you get a running start they will fall over before they wake up fully. But it's consdered animal abuse in many states and can get you jail time.
