You ask a difficult question... I believe sin is an immoral act aimed towards your own personal gain. By the way, there's a list of them in this fantastic book I read. The book is the Bible and the list is in Exodus 20. The only way to really learn what sin is is to study the Bible, someone may call something a sin or say something else isn't but the bible can tell you for sure.

A sin is that which violates the natural law.

I know that that does not really make things very clear, but it's the most concise way I can think of to express it. My brain's about dead right now, so hopefully someone else who knows what I'm talking about can elaborate. Otherwise I'll come back and expand upon my answer later.

Sin is Satan's daughter whom he sprung from his head out of jealousy for God's Son. Satan then had an incestuous relationship with Sin and Death was produced. When Death raped his mother/sister Hellhounds bore from her waist in a skirt-like manner. She is the keeper of the Gates of Hell.

knowing whats a sin, is simple! people make it hard to understand. a sin is anything that contribute or interrupt us from being fruitful or multiplying. otherwise what i am saying is, a sin ends life or stop people from being productive
in life. people waiting for a war to get started when in fact the war has already started. god is about life, anything or any behavior that ends life or stop people from having a bloodline is your clue to the true war. that's why we must live according to the word of god. it protect you from sin. it helps you live according to gods true purpose. be fruitful and multiply. the entire bible is written from these two purposes in life. LIFE is what the word of god all about. Jesus showed us how to think correctly. Moses showed us what to avoid. practice gods word and watch how your life change for the better. faith come by hearing and hearing the word of god. this means, you can only practice what you understand, you can only understand what you took time to learn. you can only learn the word of god by reading it yourself or by going to a church that teach the word of god. they say god is good. i say god is good all the time. think about it, any time somebody show you how to love you correctly. that is very good. nobody love me like god love me. only god has never deserted me in my times of trouble. through his wisdom and understanding did i learn how to create a better life for myself family. embrace his wisdom and watch how your faith in god bring you blessings. its what you have faith in, is how you receive your blessings. faith in god bring godly blessings, faith in the devil or bad things bring you bad blessings. we choose our blessing. simply by our faith.
