I don't think there's any one universal definition in a case like this. I think your question is probably more "Is it wrong?" or "Can I be accused of cheating?". I'd say that it depends on how serious the relationship is, how invested the other party is, and why you're with the guy. If it's a serious relationship, (at least on his side) then I'd say consider how he'd feel. If he IS invested in the relationship emotionally, then I think you ought to talk to him about it- don't lead him on. If it's a casual relationship with no heavy intentions, then I don't think it's of much consequence.

No, I think it's normal to compare your current dates to people you've dated in the past. If you had a good relationship that just didn't work out, you'll always hold your new significant others up to that standard until you find something better. I've been on dates were the whole time I'm thinking..."This person is not as cool as...."

Not as long as you dont go any farther than just thinking (but I am completely loyal to the person I date period). But also, what kind of thoughts are you thinking......as in, are you thinking that this other guy might be better???? If that is the case, I would step back and examine why you are thinking things like that.

if this other guy you are thinking about makes you more happy, then you are being unfair to the relationship. you are restricting your happiness and you are hurting your man by acting like you aren't even with him
